What is the online community?
The Kaplan Connections online community is a Web site for alumni and pending graduates, offering a suite of Internet services designed to help you make the most of your alma mater. How do I inform the University of my new address?
You should update your contact information in the online community directory and send an email to alumnirelations@kaplan.edu. When emailing, please include both your old and new contact information. How do I submit a class note or update?
Recently promoted? Newly married? Achieved a personal goal? Share this news with your fellow alumni. Submit a class note for publication on our Alumni Stories page by emailing us at alumnirelations@kaplan.edu. Please include your year of graduation and school affiliation. Submissions are rolling, and we will post them in the order they are received.
How do I get in touch with former classmates?
You can reconnect by searching for a former student by searching for their contact information in the online community if you are a registered member. If you cannot find the person you are looking for, call the Office of Alumni Relations at 954.512.5011. Kaplan University privacy policy prevents us from sharing information about our alumni, but we can forward messages to them on your behalf if we have their current contact information.
Where can I find information on career services and networking opportunities?
Career Resources can provide plenty of useful information and resources. You can also find excellent networking opportunities at regional “in-person” workshops. Search the Mentoring Network directory for alumni working in a field that interests you to inquire about an informational interview. If you are an experienced professional, you can offer guidance to a fellow graduate or a current student.
How do I get involved with Kaplan University?
There are a lot of great ways to get involved! First, remain an active contributor on the Kaplan Connections alumni community website. Ambassador Program is your opportunity to serve the Kaplan University alumni community by becoming involved in a variety of ways. You can join the Mentoring Network, serve as a resource for questions from current and prospective students, provide a story about your Kaplan University experience, represent Kaplan at live or virtual events or provide a video testimonial.
How can I obtain my transcript?
To receive your transcript, you must submit a request in writing. Unofficial transcript requests will be processed within 48 business hours upon receipt. Official transcript requests are processed within 7 to 10 business days, provided the student has met all financial obligations to the University. Access the online Transcript Request Form at http://kucampus.kaplan.edu/DocumentStore/kuDocs/pdf/ku_online_trans.pdf. What is the mission of the Kaplan University Office of Alumni Relations?
The Kaplan University Office of Alumni Relations exists to promote and strengthen the alumni community through a lifelong relationship with the University and one another.
We seek to create an interactive network of ambassadors and leaders by partnering with the University to facilitate meaningful interactions with the faculty, staff, and students.
The Office fosters a spirit of loyalty, involvement, and lifelong learning at the University by providing communications, programs, and services for the personal and professional development of our members.
